Inspiring the next champions since 2022,

We created the Mini DH series in late 2022 and in just a few years now host the UK’s largest series for younger racers.

We are the only organiser that puts on this kind of event for riders from 8 yr old Rippers to first year Junior level too come along and enjoy that big race atmosphere without the pressure of the bigger events, there’s no older and faster riders around them. We specifically limit* any faster riders from entering allowing these younger ones extra track time and space if needed . Everyone is allowed space to gain confidence!

Gaining a reputation for investing in the riders, Gravity firmly believes these riders are the next upcoming champions and need this pathway to progress and gain confidence. This has been proven over the last 2 years with multiple riders being signed upto some large teams and brands.

These events provide a unique opportunity for young rippers to learn and race simultaneously. These races take place over one or two days and are push-up type races on slightly smaller tracks with smaller rollable features. Before hitting the track, we prioritize safety and education with a mandatory Rider Briefing each morning.

 The rider brief is conducted for both riders and parents too attend were we explain the format for the day, track guidelines, Rider saftey and the flag system along with lots of other vital information. We want our young riders to fully understand the rules and regulations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

Our dedicated team of race Marshals closely supervise the riders, overseeing their well-being throughout the event. We even encourage parents to participate in the briefings, as we provide guidance on where to be on the hillside and how to navigate the race format. This creates a supportive and nurturing environment for our young riders, free from many pressures.

After the briefing its down to business, riders are allowed to head up the hill and begin practice until lunchtime before a short break before the first of 2 timed race runs. Just the same as normal DH races! Best timed run counts and then its Podiums afterwards . If its a 2 day event we do it all again the next day so they get the chance to race Twice in a weekend which also keeps the costs down for parents. There’s also free camping Friday and Saturday at all our mini races .
